Dennis Albrecht I stumbled upon this randomly and man, am I glad. Whilst the dark ambient and ambient genre seem to be stuck somehow, this is something new and fresh.
The entire album feels like a weird dream - if I would have to describe it: It feels like traveling through one of these educational-kid-cartoons from the 90's (Löwenzahn, if anyone is German). Traveling through a weird land that is detached from time or meaning. The cover art perfectly resembles what the album feels like. Absolutely phenomenal. Favorite track: There is Landscape Even Without Deeper Meaning.

merkle1972 Danny has been a favorite producer of mine since the year 2000 when I saw him play an amazing amiga live set at Pat’s in the flats in Cleveland OHIO.

This album was released in a batch of 20 cassettes at the Clone pop up store during ADE Amsterdam October 2018 - finally I put it here on Bandcamp and made a few more cassettes which are available at the Clone recordstore here:

About this album:
The music on this tape was recorded on 21 October 2017 during a live soundtrack performance for Werner Herzog's 1972 Fata Morgana film at the LAB111 cinema in Amsterdam. A few months later the tracks were cut loose, edited and put on tape. With the visual content vanished from sight only a few fragmentary voiceovers remain that remind us of the movie. Rearranged as hypnotic samples they give the listener some sparse poetical guidance in the metaphysicial porridge that is this cassettetape
