Reknown Dutch producer and electronic music synthesis wizard, Legowelt a.k.a. Danny Wolfers, goes full-on Berlin-school style on his latest release titled 'Secret After Dreams'. The forward thinking, Mystic & Quantum records out of Madrid offers a welcome homebase for these well-concieved sounds. A mini album of sorts, featuring 7 ethereal compositions that are excellent soundtracks to many exotic enviorments.

'Once At The In & Out Burger Academy' opens things up with a heavily sequenced old-skool sound that even Vangelis would envy. 'Squirrel' brings the only beat oriented track to the album. Crunchy analog goodness in full force here. Legowelt is widely known for his tremendous array of electronic gear. His talent with that gear on par with some of the greats like Klaus Schultz or Pete Namlook. With titles such as 'Oberheim Blockade Runner' & 'Prophet 2000 a Powerful 12 bit sampler', Legowelt uses these gear with great respect and honor, letting you hear the hearts of these classic instruments.
'Don't Let Your Life Go By On Automatic Pilot' is the album's longest and perhaps the deepest. It's equal parts eerie and awe-inspiring. Finally, 'Vesper Spirites' concludes the EP with something that sounds right out of Blade Runner. Haunting and majestic! 'Secret After Dreams' is equally successful in multiple ways.
